Toyota Rumion: Bookings Open for Rs 10.29 Lakh
【Summary】Toyota has launched the Rumion MPV in India, with prices starting at Rs 10.29 lakh. Bookings are now open, and deliveries are expected to begin on September 8th. The Rumion is available in six different grades and offers a 1.5-litre petrol engine with manual and automatic gearbox options. It comes with features like a 7-inch infotainment system, connected car technology, and safety features like airbags and ABS with EBD.
Toyota has officially announced the start of bookings and the prices of the new Toyota Rumion. The MPV is priced at Rs 10.29 lakh onwards, ex-showroom, and is available in six grades. Toyota says that deliveries will commence from the 8th of September onwards.
The Toyota Rumion is offered in various grades with different prices. The grade names and prices are as follows:
S MT (Petrol): Rs 10,29,000
S AT (Petrol): Rs 11,89,000
G MT (Petrol): Rs 11,45,000
V MT (Petrol): Rs 12,18,000
V AT (Petrol): Rs 13,68,000
S MT (CNG): Rs 11,24,000
This 7-seater MPV is powered by the 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine which produces 102bhp and 137Nm of torque. In CNG form, the engine produces 87bhp and 122Nm of torque. Customers have the option of choosing between a manual and a torque converter automatic gearbox.
The interior of the new Toyota Rumion features a 7-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. It also includes Toyota i-Connect, which allows users to set the climate control and operate other functions remotely. The MPV has a dual-tone interior with wood inserts, giving it a stylish and premium feel.
In terms of safety, the Rumion is equipped with dual front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and more. It will compete against its sibling from Maruti Suzuki, the Ertiga and XL6, as well as the Kia Carens and other vehicles in the segment.
