Used car prices surge this month with surprising top model

However, the situation is quite different for traditionally-powered used cars.
According to Auto Trader's latest Retail Price Index, used car retail prices have been rising for 41 consecutive months. This means that overall, the value of used cars has been increasing steadily.
Using the same data, we can now identify the used car models that have seen the biggest increases in value this month. The figures, which analyze cars sold in the month ending August 20, reveal that the Peugeot Partner Teepee has experienced the largest rise, with a year-on-year increase of 17.1%.
The list of cars with the biggest value hikes is primarily composed of small and affordable models. The Fiat Panda, Volkswagen Beetle, and Hyundai i30 are among the top 10 cars that have seen the most significant increases in value. Other models on the list include the Volkswagen up!, Citroen Berlingo, and Hyundai i10. The only premium brand car on the list is the Mercedes SL Class.
