The mystery of the Lamborghini from the film The Wolf of Wall Street has finally been solved. Contrary to popular belief, there were not just one, but three Countaches used during filming. One was the hero car, another served as a backup, and the third was intentionally smashed up for a specific scene. While the surviving Countach went up for auction earlier this year, the crashed car has only recently surfaced.

Bonhams, the renowned auction house, has put the iconic car on display and released a series of incredible photos. In the film, it is difficult to fully appreciate the extent of the damage inflicted on the Countach, but director Martin Scorsese went to great lengths to achieve the desired effect.
