Zeekr partners with car finance, leasing, and insurance companies
【Summary】Chinese car brand Zeekr has partnered with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Arval to offer motor finance, leasing, and insurance services across Europe. Zeekr aims to provide a one-stop-shop for EV-related services, combining online sales with flagship stores. The partnership will help Zeekr expand its customer-centric approach and strengthen its position within the Geely universe. Arval also sees this collaboration as a means to achieve its goal of leasing 700,000 electrified vehicles by 2025.
Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand owned by Geely, has recently announced a pan-European deal with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Arval. This partnership will provide motor finance, full-service leasing, and insurance services to Zeekr customers across Europe.
Spiros Fotinos, the chief executive of Zeekr Europe, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "Through these partners, Zeekr Finance will be able to offer a full suite of products, allowing customers to choose the one that best suits their needs. This aligns with our one-stop-shop strategy, which aims to consolidate all electric vehicle-related services in one place."
Zeekr, which was established in 2021, aims to prioritize a customer-centric approach. The company operates on a direct sales model, utilizing both online platforms and flagship stores to reach its target audience.
Charlotte Dennery, the chief executive of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, expressed her satisfaction with the strategic partnership, stating, "We are delighted to collaborate with Zeekr. BNP Paribas Personal Finance's expertise and experience in international mobility financing partnerships will be invaluable in ensuring the success of this cooperation. We are also pleased to expand our partnership within the Geely universe, in addition to our existing joint ventures in China and our collaborations with Volvo and Polestar in Europe."
Arval's chairman and chief executive, Alain Van Groenendael, emphasized the significance of this new partnership, stating, "This collaboration with a key player is a significant step towards achieving our goal of leasing 700,000 electrified vehicles as part of our global fleet by 2025. It will also enable us to support our clients in their transition to sustainable energy."
