BMW is gearing up to unveil its next-generation electric vehicles with the upcoming Vision Neue Klasse concept car. The automaker has been teasing the new product, claiming that it will have a significant impact on the brand's history. The highly-anticipated electric concept car is set to be revealed on September 2, following BMW's announcement earlier this month.

CEO Oliver Zipse has revealed that the Vision Neue Klasse concept will closely resemble the production car that is expected to be available in 2025. The new concept is said to be an evolution of previous BMW electric vehicle concepts, such as the BMW i Vision Dee.

In a recent teaser, BMW turned the spotlight on its design team, who shared their thoughts on the upcoming model. Although the teaser provided limited glimpses of the car, it highlighted the importance of the concept car. The designers expressed their admiration for the mustard yellow seats and the overall airy and light interior. Head of BMW Group Design, Adrian van Hooydonk, stated that he believes the BMW brand will be transformed with the launch of the Neue Klasse.

BMW CEO Oliver Zipse previously described the Vision Neue Klasse as a "mega-project" that will shape the future of the brand. The concept car is expected to feature sixth-generation batteries, offering a longer range, higher energy density, faster charging, and reduced CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process. BMW has confirmed that six vehicles based on the Neue Klasse's dedicated EV architecture will be launched between 2025 and 2027.
