Porsche 911 S/T Puma Sneakers - A Must-Have for Car Enthusiasts
【Summary】Porsche celebrates 60th anniversary of 911 sports car with new sneaker designs inspired by the 911 S/T and original 911 S. The lightweight 911 S/T features a naturally-aspirated flat-six engine from the 911 GT3 RS, while the classic Puma Retro Sneaker pays homage to the 911 S 2.5 with its light blue exterior and racing-inspired details.
Porsche is celebrating two milestones this year - its 75th anniversary as a brand and the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911 sports car. To mark these occasions, the German automaker has introduced the Porsche 911 S/T and released two sneaker designs.
The Porsche 911 S/T is a lightweight car that takes inspiration from the 1972 911 S. It features a naturally-aspirated flat-six engine from the 911 GT3 RS, paired with a manual gearbox and a single-mass flywheel. This combination results in an exhilarating driving experience.
In addition to the 911 S/T, Porsche has collaborated with Porsche Design to create the classic Puma Retro Sneaker. This sneaker pays homage to the oldie but goodie 911 S 2.5, with its light blue exterior, retro-grille-bad hangtag design, and the number 56 on the heel, which represents the Porsche 911 that participated in GT racing in 1972.
The Puma Retro Sneaker also features red-orange laces, giving it a Gulf Oil livery look. This design element adds a touch of nostalgia and further enhances the connection to Porsche's racing heritage.
Overall, these new releases from Porsche celebrate the legacy of the 911 sports car and showcase the brand's commitment to innovation and design excellence.
