The upcoming Skoda Kodiaq SUV and Superb Estate are set to be revealed soon, and Skoda has released the first photos of their new interiors. In addition to these two models, Skoda has recently given a makeover to the Skoda Scala and Skoda Kamiq, and they have also teased the arrival of a new Superb in November. Despite the push towards electric vehicles, Skoda continues to deliver new and updated ICE models.

The interiors of both the Superb and Kodiaq have received some updates. Changes include titivations to the steering wheel, instrument cluster, dash, and trim. The gear selector has been moved to the steering column, resulting in a tidier center console. The Superb and Kodiaq now feature a 10.25" instrument cluster, 12.9" infotainment screen, and Skoda's new 'Smart Dials'.

Skoda's 'Smart Dials' consist of three round knobs located under the infotainment screen. These knobs combine haptic and digital controls to enhance the user experience. The outer knobs control HVAC functions, while the center knob controls volume, fan speed, air direction, driving modes, and smart air conditioning. Each knob incorporates a digital display, offering a seamless blend of physical controls and digital displays.

Other updates to the interiors include smartphone charging capability for up to two phones in the Kodiaq, four USB-C ports, ergo seats, and the use of environmentally responsible materials for all interior textiles. These changes aim to provide a more convenient and sustainable driving experience.

Peter Olah, Head of Interior Design at Škoda, expressed that Škoda interiors are designed with intuitiveness, simplicity, customer focus, and smart solutions in mind. He highlighted the latest innovation, Škoda Smart Dials, which expands the options for controlling the car's functions. The combination of physical controls and digital displays offers the best of both worlds.
