Adam Driver's Transformation in Ferrari Trailer

Adam Driver is set to star as Italian sports car entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann's new film Ferrari. The movie, which is a racing drama, features a stellar cast including Penelope Cruz as Ferrari's wife Laura, Shailene Woodley as his mistress Lina Lardi, Patrick Dempsey as driver Piero Taruffi, Sarah Gadon, and Gabriel Leone. Driver, known for his role in Star Wars, is seen in the trailer as the older Ferrari, complete with a grey wig, receding hairline, black sunglasses, and sharp grey suits.

Many fans have expressed their excitement about Driver's transformation for the role. Some have praised his incredible look, while others have made playful comments about his surname. The trailer for Ferrari showcases the iconic red sports cars and features scenes of domestic moments between Driver and Cruz, as well as Driver and Woodley. Ferrari premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was given an interim agreement for publicity by Sag-Aftra, allowing Driver to attend the event. However, certain films, including Ferrari, have been granted permission to involve actors in some parts of their publicity if certain criteria are met. The film will be distributed by Neon in the US, an indie company, and will be released in UK cinemas on December 26.

It remains unclear whether any of Driver's co-stars will join him on the red carpet at the festival. This premiere marks exactly one year since Driver's last appearance at the Venice Film Festival. Fans can expect to see Ferrari on Sky Cinema in 2024.
