One problem that the U.S. is facing is that voters are not convinced by its current actions. It is interesting to note that the U.S. is trying to replicate China's economic model just as its own industrial policy is falling apart. A clear example of this is the electric-vehicle bubble, which is collapsing. This serves as a reminder that industries built by the government can also fail due to government interference.
